Attorney James Demmel has been working with families to resolve their legal issues since 2003. His practice centers on divorce, child custody and support matters. He has extensive experience handling complex family law situations. He also prepares prenuptial agreements, estate planning documents (wills, powers of attorney, trusts, etc.) and helps individuals administer estates.
Jim is an experienced mediator and collaborative law practitioner. He strongly recommends that his clients use the court process (litigation) as a last resort and make determined efforts to resolve conflicts by agreement if possible. At the same time, he has many years of litigation experience and will use the court process if that is the best option. He wants to help his divorce clients and other family law and estate administration clients resolve their conflicts in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
