James D. Campbell, Jr. was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and educated at Cornell University and the Dickinson School of Law.  A retired U. S. Army Reserve Colonel, he is a member of the Dauphin County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.  He served as chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Administrative Law Section and is admitted to the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the U. S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Campbell concentrates primarily in real estate, corporations and public utility law.  He has served as an instructor for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, teaching both Title Insurance and Truth In Lending classes.

Mr. Campbell was a member of the Camp Hill Board of School Directors from 1983 to 1991, serving as president from 1989 to 1990.  He was also a member of the Camp Hill Recreation Commission and coach for the Camp Hill Baseball Committee of Little League, Teener League and American Legion teams.

He presently serves as an elder and foundation trustee of the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, as a director of the Cornell University Phi Kappa Psi Alumni Corporation, and is past president of the Camp Hill Community Foundation.  Since 2003 he has served as a Hearing Committee Member for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
